Job opening at NP BME Centre for Design and Development Officer
(1 year contract, with option to renew for another year)

The Biomedical Engineering Centre of Ngee Ann Polytechnic is looking for a suitable candidate for the post of Design and Development Officer. This is a one-year contract position that is renewable at the end of the contract. The position is suitable for recent graduates who would like to do research and development work in the development of medical instrumentation devices. The work involves a range of technologies covering electronics hardware including instrumentation, real-time firmware (C/C++/Assy) on 8-bit and 32-bit microprocessors, and software (Visual C++/C#) on PCs. The Smart Home Research Center at University of Sherbrooke devotes itself to develop an ubiquitous domiciliary infrastructure based on activity recognition using sensor information.
